Dec 06, 2017  There was an update (2017-07-06) for Epson Printer Drivers v3.3 for OS X that includes what it claims are updated V600 scanner drivers. Install this, turn on the scanner, and then in System Preferences: Printers & Scanners, reset the scanner to use the updated v600 driver. Epson Scan works fine, it's the four scan-buttons on the V600 and V39 Perfection scanners that don't work. I think this is a El Capitan 10.11.4 problem. I'd like for my wife to just be able to press a scan button have have the scanner scan.

VueScan is compatible with the Epson Perfection V600 on Windows x86, Windows x64, Mac OS X and Linux.

This scanner has an infrared lamp for scanning film. VueScan's 'Filter | Infrared clean' option can be used to remove dust spots from film scans. This is similar to (and we think better than) the ICE and FARE algorithms.

On the US Epson website I found 'V700V750EScan26484AM.dng' which I downloaded, installed have have just briefly tested - all seems to work OK. Note that Epson drivers for Windows Vista or later will usually work on Windows 10. Drivers for Mac OS X 10.6 or later will also usually work on Mac OS X 10.12 (Sierra).
